Can ducks and geese eat duckweed?

I am thinking of getting some duckweed for our pond, but I don't want to get it if it will harm my ducks and geese... So I'm just wondering if duckweed is edible for ducks and geese.

YES YES YES! Common duckweed is a food source for many birds and fish especially ducks! As its name would suggest. Geese can also eat it yes. Very healthy option for your birds
