Can ducks and turtles live together happily?

I am in the middle of finishing my duck pond and was wondering if ducks and turtles could share the water without harming each other?

What kind of turtles? Some will actually bite and damage duck feet, which is why it's usually best not to have any turtles in a duck pond. They will also pull ducklings under and eat them.

It really does depend on which species of turtle you plan on keeping. It is possible but I personally wouldn't recommend doing it.
