can I bathe them in Zema flea and tick shampoo?

It so hot outside. I cut some feathers off and look closely it was prob lice eggs. They are losing quite a few feathers. They (3) only been back here for two or three weeks now. after giving them up for 1 and 1/2 yrs when moved out of this house. But I came back in April
My big bottle Of Zema Flea and tick shampoo Bought at SAMs back in early 1990s for Jerry Bakers gardening formula
I thought I saw a mite on their vent. They won't hold still so I can view better at night on the roost. Have more stuff at other house forget if I have PSP Elector.
They roam 1/2 acre fenced in .. No straw or wood chip shavings etc in coop nothing on floor but big rubber mat Like I mention Hubby at other house nd doesn't want to be DR Daddy Chicken take care of any more

For lice, fleas, and mites I would use a permethrin spray or dust on the birds and in their coop.

Every over-the-counter (OTC) treatment of head lice contains either pyrethrins (Rid or Triple X) or permethrin (Nix). Both are effective treatment. Both only kill live pests, not eggs. Good luck...
