Can I get some photos of Russian Orloff eggs?

My oreee lays light brown with white spots

Thanks for the replies! So tinted eggs for sure? Are they medium eggs like the breed index says? I hear they lay pretty poor but go threw winter normally.
Anyone know the feed ratio? I haven't thought of that yet...

I have 2 Orloff hens from breeder stock. They lay entirely different colored eggs...1 is an off white and the other is a medium brown. But my 2 girls will both give me eggs at least 5 days per week. Orloffs are excellent layers their first year of laying, but then they slack off significantly.

Hmm it's a surprise what your babes lay till they do?

Fine with me as long as it's slightly tinted. White eggs are boring and I already picked out a layer for the whites. How many eggs after the first year do you get? As much as my flock is for show I don't want a large chicken if it's going to be gobbling food down but not laying enough.

This is my first year with my Orloffs. My knowledge of their egg laying is based on what the breeder told me about them...so I'm not sure how much "slacking" they'll do next year. But I adore them as a breed, so I'm just going to make sure I hatch out replacements each year.

They are all very lovely, even the Orloff mutts I've seen. What is your favorite little bit about them? I haven't owned any yet but I am going to try to get one female and try them out. Since I only have room for a hand full of chickens I won't be tolerating nasty ones!

I'm trying to get my hands on some chicks (not eggs) that are decent quality, but the information about them is limited. They are no longer an APA breed, so finding the standards might be even more difficult.

From what I've seen- they are such lovely birds!

Same here, so far I have found a few breeder but they all sell eggs and adults. No chickas! Saddening because they are truly unique! :'C I'm going to drop a line to natures hatchery and ask them for information, they have all of the other birds I'd like to order too...
