Can I put silkies, polish, appenzeller Spitzhauben and barnevelders together in the same Coop without bullying?? How loud are the apps and the barns?

Hi. I have a very large coop and run that is 100% shaded and has lots of ventilation and is very high with multiple perches at varying heights. I have 3 feeders and 3 waterers. The whole coop and run are 100% protected from predators and extremely spacious, it's a gigantic Kingdom for chickens, space is not an issue.

I currently have three (3) 2-year-old silkies.

I live in South Florida and all the backyard chicken breeders are far away, I contacted one on Craigslist that advertised silkies and told her I wanted silkies and when I got there the dumb biatch said "oh yeah we sold out of silkies last week, but we have polish and appenzeller and barnevelder babies". So I bought one of each a Polish, an appenzeler, and a barnevelder after reading about them for 5 minutes on google.

I only took a chance on these chickens because they were there and now and I already wasted an hour driving.

I have not mixed the baby chicks with the adult chickens yet obviously, they are separate in my garage away from the adults.

I do not know if the barnevelder or the appenzeller chickens are bantam sized or miniature or smaller than normal utility chickens because the dumb lady who sold them to me didn't know anything about them, I will deal with that issue in a few months, but right now assume they are all smaller than a utility but bigger than a bantam.

HERE ARE MY MAIN QUESTIONS:

1. WILL THE APPENZELER OR THE BARNEVELDER BULLY THE POLISH AND SILKIES?

2. HOW LOUD ARE APPENZELLERS AND BARNEVELDERS?

I HAVE A LARGE BACKYARD IN A SUBURBAN NEIGHBORHOOD WHERE I'M NOT ALLOWED TO HAVE CHICKENS BUT MY NEIGHBORS ARE ALL COOL AND KNOW THAT I HAVE CHICKENS AND THEY DON'T MIND THEM BUT I DON'T WANT TO PISS MY NEIGHBORS OFF.

Are all of the chickens confirmed female at this point?

As for the noise, the hens will get noisy sometimes, especially around egg-time and if a predator is spotted, but not nearly as loud as roosters. Plant some evergreen style plants around your property and this will really cut down on noise year round.

As for the size variance, they will likely be fine as long as they are all female. There will be some bullying as they sort out their pecking order, but things will likely calm down. As long as everyone is allowed on a roost bar at night, allowed to the food and water during the day and not getting injured, I would just let them sort themselves out. If there is a larger rooster in the group however, I would get the smaller females out of there or get rid of the rooster. Size difference when mating happens cause cause injury.

All of the chickens are confirmed females and I don't have any roosters I obviously cannot keep any roosters if I'm worried about noise.

The coop is perfect don't worry about that and I don't have any room to plant anything around it. I am not changing anything about the coop.

What I need to know is if anybody else that has appenzellers or barnevelders can tell me if they are comparatively louder than other breeds of chickens or more aggressive than other breeds of chickens - only about females, I don't have any roosters and I obviously can't keep any roosters.

I have Silkies, Cochin, Brahma, Rock, Sebright, Welsummer, Orpington, Golden Comet, Naked Neck, and Appenzeller Spitzhauben in a coop all together with no problems.

And my Silkies are BY FAR the loudest chickens I have.

Mine are very friendly too, even though you always read how flighty and wild they are. They are my favorites. I have silver and gold.
Yeah, I was surprised how much she wants to be around us after reading about the breed's temperament. She is very bonded with my Naked Neck, and whenever we go in their area, they are always at our feet or following us. Not exactly a lap chicken, but almost.

Gold are beautiful, too! I ended up with mine in a TSC bargain bin. I had no idea what breed she was. It was a nice surprise!
