Can Rabbits Wear Collars?

I have 2 Flemish Giant rabbits but they look identical and I am trying to find a way to differentiate between the two. I was thinking maybe put a collar one? It would only be so that I can tell between the two, not for taking walks. Can you train rabbits to accept collars? Does anyone have a better idea?

i wouldn't do it to my foo foos. If you spend enough time with them you will be able to tell them apart

Did you get them recently? If so, you should be able to tell the difference soon enough.
Or you could paint their nails (with pet safe polish) lol. It would be quite cute

As a temporary solution I suggest some sharpie on the inner ear where it can't be cleaned off. Many breeders put in tattoos.
I would not use a collar, myself. Rabbits are like cats with them, they like to pull them off and chew them up and panic if they get stuck on something. A few rabbits may take to them calmly, but often they don't.

Yeah, they are new I got them yesterday, I raise rabbits and they rotate cages often because of the breeding system I have so I was afraid I'd get them mixed up. Maybe I'll put a ribbon on her door and just move it whenever I move her or something, but she might try to eat it.

I wouldn’t recommend putting collars on, I never have with my rabbits, only used harnesses for taking them on a walk (which has Velcro and if they were to get panicked, it would be easier to get out of the harness. But my rabbits have been good with the harness and don’t feel nervous). They likely would go into a fight or flight mode and begin to panic with a collar. They could snag something or hurt themselves if they get caught up on something with the collar. Since their necks are extremely delicate, they could injure themselves very easily.
