can they eat cheerios?

my ducklings LOVE cheerios soaked in water, but are they safe for them to eat? i know they are supposed to be whole grain but maybe they have addatives in that are unsafe for ducks? what do you think?

As an occasional treat theya re fine.

My ducks absolutely LOVE cheerios!

Someday they will find my dead trampled body in my backyard with duck prints on my forehead and an empty Cheerios box in my hand.

After I read this I went and fed my ducks cheerios! At first they were like o.0 but then they were like O.O

the link in my signature has a whole huge list of different treats you can give them... The treats that are good for ducklings have a little

next to them indicting how old the duckling should be before trying the treat. There is a lot you can try and the list gets bigger and bigger as they get older!

so far they have had starter crumb obviously, oats soaked in water, cheerios soaked in water, iceberg lettuce (i know they shouldnt have too much but i only read that bit after i gave it to them) and mashed banana, cheerios are still the fave
