I am new to having chickens and i know that food can change the color of their poop. And that food can take up to 24 hrs to empty into the stomach. I feed them a whole tomato and some other treats on the 18th and today i am noticing red in their poop and its really watery. Is this blood in their poop? And will zucchini and cucumber and lettuce and sweet peppers cause water poop? I am also not sure if its just one bird or multiple but i do know multiple have watery poop.

My chickens don't eat tomatoes, but when they eat purple viburnum berries their poo turns almost black. Freaked me out the first time this happened!
Foods with high water content like cukes and lettuce can lead to loose poo as can drinking a lot of water, as chickens do during hot weather.
Stop feeding tomatoes, exclude other treats and watch them for a day or two. Hopefully it is just the undigested tomato skins causing the red coloration.

I don’t think the tomato makes there poop red. The poop looks normal though. I do know that blue berries make there poop purple abd blue. It freeked us out because it was during fair. Maybe look into health related issues with red poop.
