Can week old chicks eat banana?

My baby chicks are about a week old and are healthy and active. I want to give them a little treat, i was if banana would be okay? If not, what do you recommend as a little, easy treat?

I don't usually feed things like banana until they are a little older. But there are things you can feed them now already. Have a look here for ideas:

Just remember to give them grit when you feed anything other than chick crumbs. If you can't find chick grit, coarse sand sprinkled over their food will do.
