Cheapest Hatcheries?

Who has the cheapest prices on barn yard specials? I bought one a few years back for a hatchery but for got which one and I bought 100 st runs for $28 which was a good deal and Im looking for something along the same line.

Mt. Healthy has 200 surplus chicks for $50. That is pretty cheap.

200 surplus chicks could be 200 Leghorn cockerels.

Agreed, I just posted it because 25cents a chick is about as cheap as it gets. I would look at al the big hatcheries (especially some of the BYC sponsors) and check to see what their current advertised specials are.

I ordered some chicks from Ideal back in May, and I thought they had very reasonable prices.

I just want to get alot of them and let them run around my back yard then cull out all the roo's and either sell them or eat them as time goes by then keep all the good laying hens. I dont want fryers

Try IDEAL Poultry. They offer a $25 minimum prices for orders. You can get about eight chickens with Marek's vaccinations for under $30, if you choose the right breeds.
