Cat killed 2 and left one alive, but injured. She’s about 2 weeks old and the bite goes from her right wing to her neck. I attached some photos of it and was told to put honey on the wounds For a natural approach but the chick was pecking it vigorously and seemed to be eating the honey so I did blu-kote over the wounds. I also added an additional water or to the bin the chick is in and added probiotics, a smallllll crumb of aspirin, and a few Drops of nutri-drench to it. Was wondering what else I can do??? The chick is having short shallow labored breathing and fall asleep standing up.

Keep it clean. I have no idea about aspirin because it’s an anticoagulant. Put some nutridrench on a qtip and put it on the side of her beak and see if you can get that in her. Keep her warm. I’m not an expert though.

Oh, I'm so sorry. I had nightmares about this happening to my chicks because my cats are bloodthirsty killers. Hope she's Ok, and I'm so sorry this happened.

Lots of people on here use vetericyn spray, or the gel, to clean and protect wounds. I just started using it today; i do t have experience with it yet.
One person suggested to me a collagen gel that is marketed for pigs' wounds. It is thick, like antibiotic salve, but it dries up and protects the wounds.

The aspirin dose is 5 tablets to a gallon of water, we read last night.
I assume that's for adult chickens, not sure.
You can put triple antibiotic on the cuts. You can also try wetting her food if she doesn't want to eat. Or try mixing it with applesauce or giving her tiny bits of grape or sunflower seed

Keep her warm and dry. Use Vetricyn to clean up her wound. I would mix some electrolytes (or plain Pedialyte) into her water as well as NutriDrench and sugar to boost her up. Keep a close eye on her and keep us updated.
