Chick breed?

Hello, I am new to this page. I am wondering what kind of breed my chickens I bought from Cal-Ranch are. They are under the assorted rare breeds category and costed a fortune!! A WHOPPING $6.99 PER CHICK!! When i got them they were golden with white feathers. But I’ve had them for a week now and I started to notice that they are turning brown? Anyways here are some pictures of before and after. Please help.

They are excellent egg layers, but by no means "rare" Funny what hatcheries will call rare.

They are nice chickens, good personalities.
I have one that is half red sex link and half leg horn. She started laying at 18 and half weeks and lays an egg every day. She is also a sweetheart.
