Chick kicking at dirt?

I have a 5 week old chick that is laying down and using its legs to kick in the dirt? I’m sorry i don’t exactly know how to explain it and i can’t insert a video. But does anyone know the reason to this?

Mine do this to loosen up the dirt so they can take a dust bath. This is how birds clean themselves.

Kicking and scratching in the dirt is a huge part of a chicken's existence. They do it to forage for food and take a dirt bath. Enjoy watching this one's antics

Has nothing to do with all those juicy worms, roaches, grasshoppers, potato bugs, and anything they can find. XP

Today dad and I were working in the garden and later when I was looking for a misplaced tool I saw tracks and dung indicating that both our ducks and chickens had been also going through the dirt dad dug up looking for little worms and such.

They probably were beyond excited.
