Hello friends. Fellow chicken tenders. I’ve got about an eight week old chick that seems lethargic and when I brought her in and checked her out it seems there’s a little bit of a sound in her breathing. It’s almost like a click. I think it might be a respiratory issue so what can I give her antibiotic wise? She is a bantam too so extremely lightweight.
Thanks in advance.

Hello Diane H, im so sorry to hear abiut yiur chick feeling so under the wearher.
So, with these signs you've noticed has she been gasping in a way, fluffed up feathers, has any appetite as well as any drinking or any waste she is producing?
And pictures would help lots trying to identify your chicks illness. Let me know if she is has any other abnormal behaviors or concerns as well, I'm happy to help!

Look her over for any air pockets under her skin. A leaking air sac can be a result of a bump or injury, and they can have a click with breathing. If large, it may need to be deflated with a needle and syringe. If not too big, it can be reabsorbed by the body.

Look at the eyes for any bubbles or foam, or white or crusty material. Does she have mucus from her beak or nostrils? Is she standing around puffed up or hunched? Will she eat and drink for you? What are her poops like? Pictures can help.

Thank you all for those suggestions. So to answer some questions:
no bubbles around the eyes
Yes-sort of puffed up.
Poops look normal.
A little unstable but I wonder if that is from just general weakness I have not eating and drinking enough.
And will eat and drink if I get it into her beak.
I will add some pictures.

Thank you for all your ideas. Let me know what you think

Aw, she looks like she doesn't feel good. I have had clicking with respiratory illness. I think mine was IB, which was viral. She did recover.

Keep up the good work on the food and water. I've had luck with watermelon - it has water and electrolytes and a little sugar for energy, and it tempts them to eat. Also, does she have a heat source to keep toasty warm? Maybe someone will have experience with antibiotics in a chick.
