Today I noticed that the wattles on my 4 yo Polish hen Misty have turned blue and look really saggy. She is acting completely normal otherwise, and is eating, drinking, running around and digging with everyone else. A lot of our girls are molting right now, but Misty is not really at the moment. What should I make of this and what precautions/treatments should I take or do?

Thanks!

Absent behavior indicating illness, there's no pathological reason for the color change. But approaching molt and decreasing day time light exposure can affect hormone levels and that can mute the redness of combs and wattles.
