I was just wondering if this may work for a tiny silkie. I was bored one day and thought, what if I walked into tractor supply with my silkie in a pouch? Yes i know i may not be aloud to do this but how cute would it be to do this and or take pictures I dont know. The picture is what I think I'm going to use for her. Plus if I ever have to take one of my chickens to the vet or something I can just carry them in. Oh and my silkie wont try and jump out she likes feeling secure because shes not a fan of heights.

Not sure if you're allowed but let us know! I love your idea! I'd take my little one with me if I could!

I'm willing to take one for the team 😂. And like either way if I'm allowed to or not, who knows maybe the workers might get a laugh out of it. Since it's a silkie I dont think you would know it is a chicken right away lol.

If they work at Tractor Supply I hope they recognize a fluffy chicken! I am really curious if you can do that though. I think some outdoor places would allow it. If not, you can still carry around your silkie in a sling! It would be adorable!

That's what I'm hoping and if not all I have to do is grab their mealworms and get out lol. Plus they sell chicks so like technically they brought chickens into the store 😂

You have a clever technicality there! They brought chickens in first! Hope they allow it! Opinions on it might be different at each Tractor Supply. I've heard of people taking their birds in places and it depended on the manager's approval.

We visited a friend in NY city. The day before a dog killed Mrs Ralph & I didn't want to leave Mrs Norton alone in PA during her grief. I put her in a lg paper bag with handles, quietly carried her past the doorman.she stayed sitting in a open box listening to us. Bagged her to go past the doorman to Central Park where I carried her.. She did well all week end. If the doorman would have caught us id have slept with her in the car

I love that. And I wouldnt want to leave mine alone if that happened either. Did you put a diaper thing on your chicken so she didnt poop inside?
