Chicken coop company

Hey, has anybody ordered a pre made coop from them b4? I bit the bullet after reading a bunch of reviews and got one. It seems like it’s a cheaper option for me than getting materials and building my own. We have a wicked inflated economy living in a tourist destination. Just curious on anybody’s experiences with them. Thanks!

When companies say the coop will hold, say, 8 birds they are saying the ENTIRE unit is big enough, probably 4x8. This includes the attached run and the nesting area. However it is the floor area of the henhouse, not including any floor space taken up with nesting and not including any run area, that needs to minimally be 4sqft per bird, 4x8! The floor space of the henhouse is probably 1/4 of that, room for only one chicken. Add to that the problem of the run. That needs minimally 10sqft/bird! Hang on to that tiny coop however. It can be the perfect solution when you need to separate a bird for health or whatever reason.

I have a pre-fab from Tractor Supply that they claimed would hold 6 chickens, I would not try putting more than two.. shoddy built, would need major reinforcement

O yeah I got one from Tractor Supply for just that to segregate etc etc. this one isn’t supposed to be small but your probably right.

Mine said 8. It should hold 2.5.
