Chicken diapers???

I have two baby redsexlink chicks girls and I was curious about chicken diapers for when they're older they will be outdoor & indoor babies. At night they'll be sleeping indoors so if use the diapers for them I will use them only when they're indoors. So I have a few questions has anyone used these before? Do they work? How do they work? At what age can they be used? Are there disposable or washable ones? Can you make them yourself? Are they ok for chickens or bad do they get messy ? And if diapers are not good is there any alternative like maybe you can teach them to pooh in one area?

I had a red sex link who I tried a diaper with when she was injured and brought inside. She was not happy with it, and somehow seemed to poop outside of it occasionally. I probably didn't have it on correctly though.

You might want to consider putting them in an area to roost at night where they can poop freely. Maybe even just a pad underneath of them. I think diapers are more for when they're awake.

If you figure out how to get them to poop in one area, please let me know! I think the only way to get them to poop in a certain area is if they are constantly kept in that area. They poop when they have to go - wherever they happen to be at that moment lol. At least mine do.

Thank you so much!! I think maybe if i do try the diapers I'll do it for when they are awake but I'm not sure if i will try them lol I think the pad idea is good maybe I can try the dog pads? and lay them on it. Haha yeah i guess they'll poop anywhere I think I'll try to figure something out if i dont use diapers thankyou so much for the link!if i ever do find a way to make them pooh in one area I will definitely share it lol

Why they be inside - u not got coop? Chicken happy outside. When come inside from rolling in mud poopoo an dirt will be nasty

If they're only coming in to sleep, then they don't need nappies. They'll stay on their roost and drop bombs from there.

Just make them a little roost and put junk mail or paper towels under there. They don't poop that much at night they do a biggie in the morning. A roll of paper towels is cheap and junk mail is free!
