My chicken (I think he's a rooster) ended up in a fight with something (we think it was a cat) and got hurt he was protecting the ducklings one was taken. he was dropping his wing and acting like he couldn't put it back up we took him to the vet and he said nothing was wrong except "self inflicted neurological trauma" now both of his wings are drooping and its tripping him he can't hold them up he keeps falling over and landing on his side and can't get back up. And When he's walking it looks kind of tilted.
I'm not sure what I can do to help him. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Welcome To BYC

I'm sorry about your rooster.

Can you please post some photos of him?

How old is he and what do you feed?

I'd switch to an unmedicated chick starter. Try giving him vitamin therapy to see if that helps with his balance.

Give 400IU Vitamin E and 1/4 tablet B-Complex daily. Give him a little egg or tuna daily to help with the uptake of E.

Do his eyes look o.k.? Can he see o.k.?

Yes he can see just fine still and the drooping definitely got better today compared to yesterday he only fell once in the morning and once in the afternoon. Would I just put the vitamins in the water? Is it OK to let the other chickens&ducks have it too?

I would direct oral dose him with the vitamins, this way you know he's getting them.

Pull down on his wattles to open the beak, pop one of the vitamins into the beak, let go of the wattles and let him swallow. Repeat for the other.

I'm glad he's doing better, sometimes after trauma or an attack, it can take time for them to recover. Hopefully the vitamin therapy will offer some support for him.
