Hi l am new to your post. I have owned chickens and bread them over many years. More recently l have had problems never experienced with past chickens.
I have viewed other conversations when my need leads me to your post.. ie blocked crop, fly blown, screaming chicken.
My new concern is a chicken who started limping a week or so age. It hasn't passed. The offended leg is now quite cool and being yellow is pater. No frostbite. I suspect a nerve impingement???
Please help.

Hello Sandra, and welcome to BYC! :frow Glad you joined.
How old is this girl?
How long has she been limping?
Have you palpated her abdomen to feel for masses, specifically near the leg joint?
I would crate her within the flock in a large dog crate to restrict her movements for about a week. Keep lots of fluffy dry bedding in her crate and spoil her with probiotics added to her food and a little bit of poultry nutri-drench in her water or several drops in her feed. Offer her a warm mash made out of her food and mix in some tuna or sardines a few times a week to really get her eating well while she's resting.
Let her out after a week and see if 'bed rest' improved her mobility.
If not, she might have a tumor growing and impinging the nerve in her leg.
