(1) Are you new to chickens / when did you first get chickens?
Yes, I am completely new to chickens / Just incubated my own chicks for the first time ever from my mothers flock.
(2) How many chickens do you have right now?
I just had 8 chicks hatch the last few days after incubating them for the first time ever!
(3) What breeds do you have?
One of the chicks is a Silkie but the rest I am not sure what breed they are.
(4) What are your favorite aspects of raising backyard chickens?
Having fresh eggs from my backyard every morning.
(5) What are some of your other hobbies?
Cars is my other hobbie
(6) Tell us about your family, your other pets, your occupation, or anything else you'd like to share.
I have 2 miniature schnauzers and 1 giant schnauzer. They are doing well with the chicks so far!
(7) Bonus: How did you find BYC, how long have you known about BYC, and what made you finally join our awesome community?
When I started to google about chickens and questions I had about incubating, ran into BYC. I am finally joining because I need some guidance on an egg that I may need to assist to hatch.
