From 4-5 days they crowing in the morning very early about 4 am and don't stop it .. this morning they do very much mouth opening ..about 10-12 times we look in her throat if anything stuck inside nothing were there all clean we pour some water then ..

I'm in india so albendazole is very easy to found

is it okay to give them worming drug without any symptoms>??? just wanna know

Have you checked their crop function....opening their beak can be a symptom of crop issues, like impaction and sour crop. From what I remember of your other posts, you do not have access to a preparatory poultry feed (apologies if I am incorrect), so their diet is more likely to lead to crop problems and from what I have read, gape worms are much less common than people think although I do not know if conditions in your part of India may cause them to flourish. Many people see them "gaping" and automatically assume gape worms are the problem, because most people have heard of gape worms. Crop problems and respiratory disease are more common causes.

To check if their crop is healthy, feel it at night when they go to roost.... it should be full and probably quite hard. Remove access to food, so that they cannot eat until you have checked it again in the morning. It should be empty then. If it is not, then you need to start massaging it to try to break it up and just give them liquid feed until it is sorted.
Do you give them access to grit..... not oyster shells, but small sharp stones. They need these to grind down their food, particularly grains, like rice, wheat etc. Layer pellets and crumbles are processed so that they don't need any grinding, they just go to mush when the bird drinks water with them. Grains need grit to be ground down in the gizzard, because chickens do not have teeth to chew. This may be why they are eating dirt when you free range them.
I would check it is not a crop problem before you start pumping wormer into their system. The wormer will just add to the problem if there is a blockage.

Hi thank you for your reply dear
Yes India didnt have commercial poultry feeds here people give natural diet .."Millet"

Yes their crop function is very good touch wood! Heehee

They eat eat eat their crop full at night and becomes empty even I didn't find their crop in the morning @ 4 am also their crop gets empty in day also every 5-6 hours ..daily

I face a little crop problem when they are very little about 1 week old they overfeed eggs they got very hard crop that day but it goes down by morning ..

I'm thinking for worming just for a safe side I don't want to lose them ..
I also treat for cocci on 30th Aug for 4 day treatment with biotrim

I would agree that I would investigate a crop problem first. They may need to drink more water. Gapeworm is rare. How old are they? Have they been on soil or kept in a brooder. The albendazole that you have is much more concentrated than what we use in the US. The dosage from the Albomar manufacturer states that you give 5 mg or 0.2ml for each Kg of weight orally to each chicken. Then in the US, we normally repeat that dosage in 10-14 days. Do they weigh close to a Kg (2.2lbs?) If you choose to worm, make sure they get plenty of water before and after.
