I know this is pushing my luck, but...
Are any of you chicken owners in Frederick Maryland? Because I've been OBSESSED with the idea of backyard chickens for over two years, but am pretty intimidated by the registration/application process here. Is there anyone who went through the process, and could explain how it went? Was it easy or complicated, or even impossible? Thanks so much in advance!

(1) Are you new to chickens / when did you first get chickens? Don't have them yet, I'm just hopeful!
(2) How many chickens do you have right now? 0
(3) What breeds do you have? The nonexistent one?
(4) What are your favorite aspects of raising backyard chickens? No idea
(5) What are some of your other hobbies? Gardening, writing short stories, running, and singing.
(6) Tell us about your family, your other pets, your occupation, or anything else you'd like to share. I have a great family, but my cat recently died.
(7) Bonus: How did you find BYC, how long have you known about BYC, and what made you finally join our awesome community? Known about BYC for a long time, 2+ years, and joined now because raising chickens just became possible (though I've wanted them for a while).
