When I bring my girls out in the morning, and change the newspaper under their perch, I've been finding some round, light yellow balls that sort of look like hard boiled yolks. I've never seen this before and am a bit worried.
The birds seem healthy otherwise, although their stool is a bit more watery than usual.
Does this sound familiar to anyone?

I didn't get a photo but will keep an eye on the pen and try to get a photo. It looks just like a small hard boiled egg- oval, and maybe 1 to 1-1/4 inch on the longest side.
thanks, I'll look through those links.

That possibly could be a lash egg. Lash eggs are usually from oviduct inflammation from bacterial infection, which can be related to internal laying and egg yolk peritonitis. Cut the object in two and take a picture.
