In my chicken coop we have 2 rooms, one where they sleep and one that's more enriching meanwhile we build their chicken run (They're still allowed to free range daily)
I have 8 chickens, 5 of them sleep on the ground and I'm trying to break the habit, but they never, NEVER, leave eachothers side.
I checked on our cameras, and one is sleeping alone. I cannot check on her currently, I'm in another city :(
I'm just really paranoid, is she okay?

She may be ill, or could be bullied or run off by the others. With her head tucked into her feathers, it may be illness. Look her skin over for mites or lice under belly and elsewhere. Feel of her crop in early morning to see if it is empty or full, soft/puffy or firm. Is her lower belly enlarged or full of fluid? What do her droppings look like? Is she eating and drinking?

I looked at the playback, she went into the other room with the other 4, but they later left her, we've never had a problem with pecking between the 5 of them, but my other 3 do peck her and her gang (They sit on the roosts and the others sleep on the ground..) :( I'll try to get someone to check on her
