I think one of my hens swallowed a pit from a plum…
My mom threw a whole bunch of produce outside and when I went out they had gotten into it.
I noticed a few plums in the mix, too, and my alarm bells went off. I felt around my chickens crops— and sure enough, something was very hard and bulging from my hen, Babygirl’s, crop. If she did swallow a plum pit, is she going to be okay? Anything I can do?
She’s breathing and eating just fine, but it still worries me.

Chickens tolerate poisons from pits, & seeds better then ducks do.
