This is my 4 year old Ameracauna. For the last couple of weeks I just thought she was having a spring molt. She is active and eating well but looks a mess. I have notice crumbly poo in the coop in the morning but, I have 5 other chickens and there are about 2-3 piles of crumbly poos under the roost. The other 5 seem fine. As I was taking the pictures (just now) she pooped and it was diarrhea. A real watery squirt.
A few months ago she was walking like she was drunk. I gave her polyvisol (no iron) and pedialyte for several days and then she seemed fine. But this is how she is now.
Any thoughts info would be very appreciated.

I use garlic and acv. Never used a chemical wormer. Mites they get DE in the coop and their dust baths

Common rule to consider all conditions is check for lice and mites between the feathers on the skin, treat for coccidiosis, treat for worms, then supplement with vitamins, minerals and probiotics.

Bad feathering, pale combs, lethargy are all examples of anemia caused by lack of nutrition, external/internal parasites which rob the bird of red blood cells.

She's not lethargic and is not pale. But, that sounds like a good course of action. What's the treatment for coccidosis?

Treatment is Corid 9.6% is 2 tsp per gallon of water for 5 days. The Corid 20% dispersible powder is 1/2 tsp per gallon of water. Follow up with vitamins-electrolytes-probiotics for 3 days after the last treatment. Keep us posted daily on your hen's condition/ if you see anything else out of the ordinary. Good luck.

I used to use DE, didn't work for me, if she were mine, I would dust her and deworm her with Fenbendazole 10%, liquid or paste. It's sold as Safegaurd or Panacur and it's in the horse and cattle section of most feedstores.
