Chickens and quail

I currently have a broody hen and was looking into getting eggs for her to hatch. I was interested in keeping the quail but was wondering if they could stay together and live in the same coop etc. Since they would know each other and get along well.

I have no personal experience with it, but I've seen the question asked before.
The usual advice is not to do it, although a few people say it works for them.
There can be some disease risks, the chickens may hurt the quail because the chickens are so much bigger, the quail need much more protein in their food than the chickens do, and chickens just act differently than quail so they don't actually get along well.

Here are a few other threads discussing it:

Don't keep them together. Quail can carry diseases which do not affect them but can kill a chicken (and vice-versa). Quail are also much smaller than a chicken and I could imagine an angry chicken could easily kill a quail. Plus quail can be cheeky monkeys and quite aggressive (won't cause damage to a chicken) but may annoy them.
