Our spotted sussex has been having issues walking since we got her. The heavier she gets the harder it is for her to walk. Her hip goes in and the leg goes sideways, she has to use her wing to keep her balance. Does not seem to hurt her but she sits way more then the other chickens. Here is a video of her walking, the last part of it you can see the issue the most when she walks towards the camera. Any help or ideas would be appreciated, we just feel so bad for her.

:welcome She apparently has a congenital hip/leg problem. It may get worse as she ages, but for now it does not seem to negatively impact her quality of life.

Dottie may have valgus deformity in her left leg. It is a birth defect common in poultry. The hock tendon may become damaged with growth (slipped tendon or ruptured tendon.) Not much can be done, but splinting the leg with vet wrap might help to support it to help with walking. A vet might be of help. Sorry that I can't help more. Here is some reading about it:
