Chickens in Burlington Ontario?

Hello everyone,
I have joined this group on order to gain insight into city regulations pertaining to backyard chickens. I met with a local farmer in Milton today and she told me that there are infact no laws stating we cannot own chickens. I have found it very difficult to find out any information related to raising backyard chickens. Can someone please help me? I would love nothing more than to have 3 chickens to spoil, pet and love!

You might call your city hall or local government and ask them. They should be able to tell you all you need to know.
