Chicks ate cardboard!

Will they be ok? I'm not sure exactly how much they ate.... I will try to get a picture.

Some information:
They are about 3 weeks old. The brooder bin is made from cardboard (thats what they were eating).
There are 3 of them. Um, I can't think up anything else. Feel free to ask questions.

They will likely be fine. I doubt they ate enough to cause an obstruction. However, if you wish to insure the cardboard passes harmlessly through, give each chick a half a teaspoon of coconut oil. Chill the oil slightly after measuring it, and slip the solid oil directly into the beak, close the beak, and the chick will swallow.

This will lubricate the digestive tract and things should slide right on out as slick as can be.
 
They likely didn't eat much, moreso they were tasting it and then it became fun to rip apart. Chickens are surprisingly picky about what they officially swallow, but they will sure try anything!

My boys eating cardboard because I have only cardboard coop so they eat I notice cardboard pieces in poop as well is it harmful?
