Chicks sneezing!

I have 9 3.5 week old chicks sneezing a lot. I let them out for the first time for a little bit, and they all were sneezing every 30 seconds. They are all running around, eating, and drinking like normal. I have pine shavings in their brooder which is inside. I’d this something i should be worried about? This is my first batch of chicks ever.

Do they have runny noses, lethargy, or loss of appetite?

It is possible that letting them outside has gotten them exposed to something that will make them sneeze, definitely if it is their first time. Is the dirt dry and dusty?

They are all acting normal and hyper as chicks are supposed to be. I haven’t noticed any discharge when they sneeze or watery eyes. It was their first time outside and I put them on grass with a little dirt. It did rain yesterday so I’m not sure if that would matter. I am so worried because this is my first batch ever.

If you have tree, grass, or flower pollen in the air it will make them sneeze.

Fungus and mold spores will make them sneeze also.

Okay maybe that is why then! Is it safe for them to inhale that if it is making them sneeze? I am trying to slowly get them acclimated before they are outside full time.

It's fine, that's part of acclimating a group of chickens to there living space. It's to build natural health defense to there environment. But always be observant of unusual behaviors it could lead to potential health problems. The sooner you identify issues the safer they will be.
