Christmas lights on the chicken coop?

I was thinkin about it but I don't know... what do you guys think? anyone do this before?

And, you can see what you are doing out at the coop as the days get so short.

Oh hey I think I found it. I actually remember reading this from last year, I had forgotten all about it. They were pretty creative.

I am glad that you found it. I tried to find it and I saw some from 2008, but I gave up on the one I was looking for. The solo cup lights/bells were so neat and clever.
I have not decorated anything yet. I better get on it!

I hadn't done it but it sounds fun. I wonder if the added light from the christmas lights will increase their laying? Hmm..... I think a trip to Home Debot is in order!

I used to put Christmas lights on my chicken coup all the time! But we moved and my barn doesn't have electricity It's fun to do, and it looks pretty from the road! I don't think it bothers the chickens either, as long as you don't put any inside the coup.
