hoping to find some input...7 month New Hampshire Red. Had her and 2 others for about 5 months. Took her to the vet this morning as she had blood in her poop off and on for the last week (last Sunday and Thursday). She's has been acting fine even with the poop issues -- and eating/drinking too. Other two are doing the same. Vet did a culture and identified cocci -- think she has had it from the beginning. Try to be as organic as possible but didn't feel that I wanted to take any chances so using Baycox on her and the 2 others. Vet felt that it was too far advanced to try any milder methods. Vet also said that we should not eat eggs for at least 2 weeks after treatment ends but up to us if we want to wait longer. Wondering if anyone can share their experience with baycox and how long they waited before eating their eggs.
