I have 5 new girls that will be 6 weeks old this coming Wednesday (5/16/2018). Yesterday and today I found something in one of the Black Laced Golden Wyandottes droppings. I have read how chickens will shed some of their stomach lining. I started introducing them to some native soil when they were 3 weeks old with some small plants, also but a box with dirt in their brooder at 4 weeks. I am not certain if what I am seeing in the dropping is just shedding stomach lining or coccidiosis. There has been no decrease in their activity level. I am including pictures and would love to hear from some of the long time experts. Thanks

If the shed intestinal lining is constant, it would be best to get her started on corid.
If it's infrequent, I wouldnt worry about it.
Thanks. I almost over reacted and was going to start them on corid already but after looking closer I figured it looked more like stringy flesh than just blood. Also it was inside the dropping, it was a good solid dropping and I actually didn't see it until I broke it open. Thanks for the reassurance.

Chicken poop is a good indicator concerning the health of your birds. I think you're doing an excellent job. :D
