Hi, I posted a thread about a week ago, it was about my cockerel. He is still not in great shape. I thought he had a vitamin deficiency but it seems to be a neurological problem or maybe even Marek's. I am still unsure. He can't stand up, he falls on his back or side. He can't balance, nor stand like he used to. Anyway, I am starting to see my little roo open his mouth more frequently, shakes his head and sometimes sneezes, doesn't want to drink (so, I have to give him some) he does eat but eats less each time. Oh, and when he does open his mouth, his head moves back and forth. I have also noticed that sometimes he peeps or squeals when I touch him near his fluff and hock joint area (this happens when I pick him up sometimes). When he peeps him feet curl in and kind of leans to the back. I am not sure if he feels a sudden sharp pain near there. It has happened several times now and since he can't stand, I have to hold him. I have made a sling for him but sometimes doesn't want to be in the sling. I do not have high hopes for him as, a friend of mine told me that my roo probably has Marek's, which I understand has no cure. I just want to know if he has anything else before I do.
