Cockerel or Pullet - 4 week old Buff & Black Orpingtons.

Hi! I am new to keeping chickens so please excuse my ignorance. About 4 weeks ago I purchased 4 Buff Orpingtons and 2 Black Orpingtons, straight run. I am trying to figure out which are the cockerels and which are the pullets. I've read so many different, contradicting, things that I thought I'd post on here and get your opinion. Any information would be greatly appreciated .

Uh oh, I see lots of red combs on your buffs. If they're all the same age, I would guess that those chicks with the large, red combs are your cockerels and those with smaller combs will be your pullets.

1, 2 & 5 are boys. Sorry but it looks like your buff orps are all roos.

Darn - I had a feeling this might be the case..

I wish I wanted to keep them. They are really very sweet, for now any way. I've been handling them every day.

1, 2, and 5 are cockerels. The others look like pullets for now.

I took back the 3 buff cockerels and kept the 1 buff pullet. I kept both of the black orpingtons even though I'm sure 1 is going to be a cockerel. Oh and then I bought 2 Dominique's!
