Combing flocks

I originally had a small flock of 3 hens and 1 rooster that free range. Two of the hens have died and my husband got me 7 chicks. We have a separate coop for the "new" girls but they all free range together during the day. The new hens are all over place and have kinda separated into two groups. I would like for my rooster to take over these girls but they are not fond of him. Usually it's 4 of the "new" girls hanging together with the other 3 "new" girls together and then my rooster and older hen. How do I get them to merge into one flock?

How old are the pullets? They will likely gravitate to the rooster once they start laying.

They are about 4 months old. I noticed today that 3 of them are sticking closer to the rooster and older hens. I hope you're right! Fingers crossed!

They aren't "into boys" rn lol. That is about to change when they get to laying.
