Going by the standard 4 square feet per chicken for coops, that'd be around 6,000 square feet. Granted, you may lose a few, but still....Oh my! My sister raises turkeys commercially and that's the only place I've ever seen that many chicks at one time. They have many huge long buildings we'd call coops. Are you going into mass eggs or meat production?
