Coop cleaning service

I was thinking about starting a coop cleaning and sitting business but I wanted to get some options on whether anyone would use a service like this? What are your thoughts?

Edit: Biosecurity seems to be one if the biggest issues ...besides disposable boot covers, gloves, mask and cover-alls, all metal or plastic( no wood) tools. Aslo cleaning all tools before and after a job with a bleach solution. Is there anything else u guys would suggest to keep things clean and safe?

I would not need cleaning. I might need someone to feed and check up if I went away for the weekend, but I would ask my neighbors.

Probably would boil down to price and what specific services you would offer. Would you provide materials, straw, bedding, wood chips etc... or would chicken owners need to provide that.

I would not use a service like that. I prefer to take care of my own and anytime I go out of town( maybe once a year) my sister takes care of my chickens

IMO most chicken owners seem fairly involved with their flock and don't travel much away from them, so I doubt there's a very high % who would use a cleaning service. The ones I could see using it and could actually afford it, probably already have regular services for maintaining basically everything in their lives. Also that seems like a literal crappy job and you'll probably want to have lots of PPE and sanitation procedures if you were cleaning out chicken coops every day.

Sitting/egg collecting services though might be more of a possibility. Most people have a relative or neighbor they'd use for this, but sometimes you need an outsider because everyone's going with you on the trip and there's no way you're letting Nosy Neighbor Nancy over while you're not there, lol.

^^^ This! I would not want someone coming over onto my property or around my chickens that's been around other chickens because of the possibility they might bring diseases onto my property. Biosecurity is extremely important to me! I would not even want someone to pet-set or take care of my chickens that has chickens of their own. Sorry.

This. Biosecurity would be very difficult to maintain and I would not trust anyone to go between coops without spreading disease.

I would absolutely use a service like this if it was around me. Not on a regular basis, but when life is busy it would be a great option!
