I have a 21 wk pullet that I've caught sleeping in the nesting boxes, today I found some poop that looks just like the pics of coral urites. Do pullets do this before they start to lay eggs?
I'm going to give them a round if corrid to be safe but they all seem fine.

Do you have photos of the poop and of her?

Does the pullet normally roost with the others?

What breed is she?
21weeks, possible a pullet is coming into lay...

If it's a 1 time observance of Coral urates, then I'd hold off on any type of treatment unless you notice birds acting sick, lethargic, off feed, etc.

She's a mix, part EE, I've just noticed it yesterday and she roosts half the time. She's at the bottom of the pecking order. Youngest and she may have bantam in her. This is the pic I posted last week. Not a good one because I was trying to get a good Pic of the rooster
