Just found out really cool way to give the girls a cold treat on a hot summer day! Recipe in the picture!

Why not just freeze corn on the cob? It's very inexpensive and no mess. I'll pass.

That's what I do in the summer, among other frozen treats.

Good point! You have a couple of options with whole corn on the cob, like breaking it into smaller chunks so the girls could share. If breaking them apart is messy or difficult, then you could also buy these (which already come frozen):

They are not really "mini" ears of corn as the bag suggests. Just corn cut into ~3-4" pieces.

This is much better than frozen food, IMO.
Doesn't make their little beaks sore....cools their feet..and lasts all day.

Make room in your freezer
