Yep, that's a SD OEGB.
They are a Game breed, which means they were bred for cockfighting. Thus, they tend to be very aggressive, especially the roosters. Are they usually aggressive towards other chickens? She has gone after every chicken I've introduced her to with the intent to draw blood. This isn't trying to establish dominance, this is pure hackles up, pecking and chasing the, sometimes much bigger, chicken around until I rescue it from her. She literally will not stop chasing and pecking the other chickens, at one point she had SEVEN large hens and an 8lb roo running for their lives.

X2 on both of the above posts. They are a Game breed, which means they were bred for cockfighting. Thus, they tend to be very aggressive, especially the roosters.
agree on both posts - I'm afraid of her and she cannot even see me.
I think I got a SD OEG chick as a surprise chick from Murray mc Murray
Awe, I'm sorry about your hen! I really hope mine is a hen not a roo, I don't need any more roos...Lucky. She was killed by a predator a month ago and I'm looking for another SD OEGB hen.
