Coupe

Do guineas need different coupe conditions than chickens? Like size of the coupe vs the number of birds, roost boxes or nest boxes?
Guineas do need different coop conditions. They need at least 4 sq. ft. of clear floor space per adult guinea. They do better with even more space as the 4 sq. ft. per bird is the minimum. Always build the coop bigger than you think you will need.

They prefer to roost high so a building that a person can easily walk around in is much better than a low roofed coop.

They tend to prefer hidden nests. Using bales of hay to arrange hidden areas with entrances can work.

It is good to provide hiding places for low ranking members of the flock. These places should have both an entrance and an exit. Shelves that they can get up on seem to be liked.

It can be beneficial to provide multiple waterers and feeders.

FYI, a coupe is a car.
