Hi all, I picked up 15 leghorn eggs from a friend who has first season layers. Fertility wasn’t great and we had a few quitters, so 4 in total went into lockdown. Not a problem as they were free and sort of experimental.

Progress was slow (likely fluctuating temps as it’s a bit temperamental where we are!) and we are at the end of day 23. We’ve done 3 assisted hatches after internal pips at wrong ends and malpositioned chicks. 2/3 successful.

This last guy has stumped us and we’re not sure what to do now?! Looks normal on one side (but somewhat underdeveloped?) but the other side seems separated? Advice please!

Just seeing this, but I’m curious as to what happened with these eggs? I have a similar issue going on.
