I found a roundworm in some chicken poop, oddly only one, no more! I went to TSC, and an employee there told me that this was the only dewormer safe to give my hens. This is my first go around with deworming chickens, so any help/advice would be greatly appreciated!!!!

1.) how many pellets should I give each hen? Not sure of their exact weights, but I have a mixed flock of a Buff Orpington, Rhode Island Red, White Leghorn, Golden Comet, Americauna, Splash Olive Egger, and a possible Dominique mix. All are laying hen, 9 months old! Except the olive egger, she’s 6 months old.

2.) how many days and how often do I deworm them for?

3.) do I need to throw their eggs out, or can we still eat them?

4.) is there anything I need to treat the ground and nesting areas with? They’re in a coop, not free-ranging (too many neighborhood dogs roam around!)

They haven't read the package, apparently. It's the exact same stuff as the pellets.
I’ve never gotten good advice from TSC, not sure why I still ask them anything! Lol they told me it’s for turkeys and that chickens are like turkeys so give the same dosage… I didn’t think it sounded right and couldn’t find anything on google about the pellets, glad I asked on here. Thank you again:)

They were on track with the brand, but not the product. They can't actually give out diagnostic and treatment advice for liability reasons.
