Diamond dove feeding - too many vegetables?

With my aviary birds I feed them 50/50 seed mix and vegetables/fruits with a vitamin and mineral supplement occasionally, I think this is about right for most of my birds (lovebirds, budgies, canaries, zebra finches and diamond doves) but I've recently been reading that doves shouldn't have much fruit and veg. Is that too much? Would it be better to replace veggies with sprouted seed maybe?

According to a brief search on all your birds, they shouldn't be getting more than 20-25% of fruit in their diet per day, it should be about 80% seeds and 20% fruit. the doves will need access to Quail grit. :]
I did 25% fresh food and 75% seeds today, it worked well. I will tweak it to the 20/80 ratio tomorrow. Thanks for the info :)

You should always keep dry food down for these birds, either seed or pellets (diamond doves can only eat the tiniest pellet sizes)

Offer greens/fruit etc in a separate dish or clipped to the cage bars and the birds will eat as much of them as they need. Diamond doves eat less greens than parrots or finches, but do enjoy them.
