Received mine today and have been hi-lighting lots of things. I read several other publications on raising chickens BEFORE deciding to have Backyard Chickens. Didn't buy our chicks until 4/15/09. Back in Feb I knew Raising Chickens for Dummies was due in August SOOOOOO I've been watching and waiting. Anxious to pour through all the pages.. Thanks.

Finished reading my copy three days ago. It's an awesome wealth of chicken knowledge. As mentioned in another post I submitted and when I first received Raising Chickens For Dummies, I bought my copy from Amazon not knowing it was available at BYC and missed all of the great perks BYC is offering.

Highly recommend to anyone raising or considering their own flock. Would also make a wonderful gift!!
