Hey guys. I need yalls help. I have had my little ducklings for 2 weeks now. The first week they kept everything fairly dry and clean. This last week has been like raising human toddlers! Lol On a good day their cage stays tidey for up to an hour. On a bad day they create a pond in 10 minutes. I am using a traditional chick waterer right now but that is no longer working. Please share you're guy's diy waterers for you ducklings that keep them from creating a pond out of there brooder.
Their brooder after 1 hour today:

Just a pic of the babies in their holding tub before their first swim.

I literally just (five min ago) did this, based on the idea @WannaBeHillBilly has in their 2019 Ducklings article. I used wire racks for baking and a piece of shelf grip for tonight. Will see how it works tomorrow. (The ducklings are awake because I drug them all out of the cave and sat them in it after I put it in the brooder to make sure they can get in and out)

Making a bigger brooder in the next few days, but we will see how this works.

The first one with the milk jug has the back cut out so I put another bottle inside the milk jug with a hole drilled into it down low and the water gets only filled to the depth of wherever the hole is drilled. I set this on a tray with a rack on top to all the spillage goes into the tray.

The second one is what came next as they got bigger I just drilled a hole near the bottom for the water to come out of the big jug. They can't get in the basin so they don't spill anything.
