That's awesome! My mom is also available to foster chickens in Northridge! She has a big, empty, predator-proof coop/aviary and isn't in a wildfire-risk area.

She's been calling the various animal shelters and rescues (including Pasadena) to check to see if anyone needs a place to temporarily keep their chickens after evacuating.
